In fact, when I do click on Horizon it really doesn't do anything. Wellll.for me the Horizon I tool doesn't work anything like my one click solution in LR6. you will have to do a trial of V3 to see if that works for you. make sure your updates are current and if that doesn't work then. didn't realize the earlier versions didn't do the one click perspective correction. My version of PL will update but my version of VP doesn't, I'll have to buy that upgrade. I'm going to have to download a trial of V3 to see what you're experiencing. You're patiently explaining to me how your Version 3 works, and as has been pointed out above I have Version 1. perhaps your version of VP is not the latest? when I click the box to the left of Perspective it turns blue and does the auto correction. BTW, I go back with DxO Optics Pro to version 6.0. Now in LR5 and LR6 (these are the standalone versions), it's just one click. In LR3 (and maybe LR4) I had to do it manually but it wasn't that hard, just sliders. Lightroom just does it behind the scenes. There is no "Auto" anywhere that I can select.again unless I'm doing it wrong. If I do select the box next to it (it then turns white) I get the two lines with the "control points" that I'm supposed to drag somewhere and that's not what I'm looking for. Yes, VP 1 does have "Perspective" but it's still not a one click affair like in LR6. The OP stated that he does have the basic version of VP so he should be able to do the one click Perspective adjustment I demonstrated. I overlooked that factor as I do have the VP plugin installed. You don’t get the Perspective palette unless you have installed the VP3 plugin.
